For made-to-measure gowns, we require the following seven measurements to ensure a flawless
fit. Please use a flexible measuring tape and, if possible, have someone assist you for the most
accurate results.
Measure around the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra similar to the one you’ll wear
with your dress. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight.
Locate the narrowest part of your natural waistline. Measure around, keeping the tape
comfortably fitted and parallel to the floor.
Stand naturally and measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. This is usually 7–9
inches (18–23 cm) below your waistline.
Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm. This ensures a comfortable fit for sleeves and
shoulder details.
Measure from the edge of your shoulder to your elbow, then from your elbow to your wrist. Add
both lengths together for total sleeve length.
Wearing the heels you intend to wear with your dress, measure from your waist (or hollow)
down to the desired hemline.
Stand straight, feet together, and measure from the top of your head to the floor. This helps us
ensure your gown is proportioned beautifully.
